Thanks for coming to my page! The Foundation Cup is an SCGA Junior Golf Foundation fundraising tournament, hosted annually at a premier club in Orange County. On August 10th, I will play alongside three Foundation supporters at Monarch Beach Golf Links in a fun and competitive round of golf that aims to raise money for the Foundation.
The SCGA Junior Golf Foundation inspires kids like me to play golf by creating a fun, engaged community that provides a safe, supportive and encouraging environment for us to have fun and develop the necessary skills to achieve our goals on and off the course. I wouldn't be where I am with golf today if it wasn't for my involvement in the SCGA Junior programs. My relationship with golf began in the fourth grade, when I first picked up a club and discovered a sport that would shape my character, my confidence, and my goals for the future. What started as weekend practices quickly grew into a deep passion. I began competing in SCGA and SCPGA tournaments, as well as programs through the Tiger Woods Academy. These early experiences taught me discipline, patience, and resilience, and they sparked a love for competition that led me to travel for regional and national tournaments as I grew older. I even got the opportunity to play college golf with Fullerton College.

As meaningful as those competitive years were, the most impactful part of my golf journey has been giving back to the programs that helped raise me. Today, I work a weekend job teaching golf with the SCGA—the same program I grew up in—and I also volunteer at tournaments whenever I can. Being called “coach” by younger kids is one of the most rewarding feelings I’ve ever experienced. It reminds me that golf is bigger than scores or rankings; it’s about mentorship, community, and helping others find confidence in themselves. Latina Golfers is another wonderful organization that I have had the privilege of being a part of sharing the sport of golf with the Hispanic community. Beyond teaching, I participate in community fundraising events and charity tournaments, using golf as a way to support causes that matter to me. These experiences have shown me how powerful the sport can be when it brings people together for something meaningful.
